--(Cont'd From Front Page)-- The rumors was posted on an obscure fan blog and said that Earnhardt was selling her share of the company founded by her late husband to Siegel and that the team was looking for an outside financial partner. It grew to the point that Siegel was forced to answer emails and take phone calls from legitimate news outlets to quiet the rumor.

"She's not selling it, I'm not buying it," Siegel said. "We get calls all the time, but nothing is on the block."

Siegel added that DEI is currently not looking for help.

"We're not for sale. We're not looking for partners," Siegel said. "I don't know where this stuff comes from."
