Edwards topped the speed chart at 170.433 mph. Roush Fenway racing teammate Greg Biffle, who will start 18th, was second fastest. In warmer conditions during Happy Hour (final practice) Biffle was quickest at 167.385 mph, with teammates Matt Kenseth and Edwards second and third, respectively. Joey Logano, who will make his second Cup start on Sunday, was 36th fastest in Saturday's first practice and 38th in Happy Hour in the No. 96 Hall of Fame Racing Toyota.
