Alabama governor Bob Riley is asking NASCAR fans to fill up at home before heading to Talladega this weekend.

--(Cont'd From Front Page)-- Riley announced a plan to ease a gas shortage in parts of the state and agreed with Mississippi and Louisiana to waive some state regulations that he said will hasten the arrival of gas into the state.

In urging fans to fill up at home, Riley said he doesn’t t want a situation where thousands are trying to fill-up right after the race and causing localized shortages.
